Who are Newquay Self Storage?
Newquay Self Storage are a family owned company situated on Prow Park Business Village. We aim to offer an affordable easy to use storage solution; without any lengthy contracts. We can offer bespoke storage solutions for both personal and commercial use.

Located on the outskirts of the popular seaside town of Newquay, we are conveniently located for both Newquay Airport and the A30.

How does self storage work at Newquay Self Storage?
We have a simple online sign up process, which can be completed on your own device or in our reception, you will need a form of photo ID and a valid credit or debit card. Once your account is created you will need to sign your e-contract and verify your ID then head to reception for your key*.
*Larger storage containers require you to purchase your own lock.

Is there a minimum & maximum length of the contract?
We have a minimum contract of 28 days, thereafter it is a rolling contract that only requires you to give us 7 days' notice before vacating.

How does security work at Newquay Self Storage?
We have comprehensive 24 hour recorded CCTV and overnight security 365 days of the year.
If we hold a key to your storage container, only the account holder and named people on the account are allowed access to our storage containers.

Can I park my car close to the storage unit?
Parking is widely available across Prow Park so there are many convenient places to pull up your car or van to unload your belongings. 

Do I need a Padlock ?
For our larger units we ask that the tenant supply their own lock, our smaller units tend to have security doors fitted with internal barrel locks already installed. Please call the office on 01637 854983 to find out if your unit will require a padlock.

Do I need Insurance ?
Yes - At Newquay Self Storage we offer our own insurance which you can purchase online with your booking
 
and if I have my own Insurance?
If you have your own insurance we will need to have a copy of this stating that R.T. Julian & Son Ltd, is allocating your items ( listed ) to store in the unit onsite.
* Please note you will need to set up your initial first contract with £2000 insurance which will be cancelled once your insurance document is received by us.*

When can I have access to my goods?
You have access to your storage unit from 7am to 9pm, 7 days a week. 

How is payment made? 
Payment is made via an automatic card charge on our online booking system. The card which is held in your account will be charged every 28 days but you can change this card at any time.
If payment isn't received on time, access to your storage will be temporarily suspended and a late payment charge will be added to your next invoice.

What happens if I loose my Key? 
If you lose your key we will be able to remove the current lock and replace and your account will be charged for the new lock.

I'm moving house and need some packing supplies, can you help?
Yes! We sell everything you would need to completely pack up your house including boxes, tape, bubble wrap, pens, utility knives and dust sheets! Please ask for more details at the reception.

Can I swap Units?
Of course! If you would like to swap your unit, realise your need more or less space you can change units at any time as long as we have 7 days notice!

When will my card be charged?
Your card will be charged every 28 days from the day you sign up.

Need a helping hand or a forklift?
If you require help unloading your items we have staff on hand who can assist. We also have forklifts and pallet trucks for heavy items which are charged at £30(inc VAT) per hour, this includes a member of trained staff!
